These are online synchronous classes, meaning they start and end on a specific date. Here, learners can obtain computer expertise and knowledge in a virtual classroom setting.
LVS Online Classes - LVS is a distance-learning web site  providing students with web design and internet courses. Learn how to create a web page or design professional looking graphics. Class fees are $20 per course for new students, $12 for returning students.
The Computer Science Tutoring Center - Offers Programming Courses and Tutoring by e-mail - Learn C, C++, Windows, Java, HTML, Java Script and VHDL Programming. Free Academy of Career Training - The Free Academy of Career Training believes that everyone should have an equal opportunity to succeed and that if someone really wants to learn, then he or she should be allowed to do so. Courses are available in the following areas: Computer Programming, Internet Webmaster Specialist, Internet Application Developer, CNE, MCSE, and A+ Certification. All course modules are $10 each, but if you pay the $10 fee within 3 days of registering, then you can take the next course for free.

Virtual University -  The world's largest online learning community, serving more than 500,000 students and alumni in 128 countries around the world, their global mission is "Empowerment through Knowledge." You can take up to 3 courses per term for only a small $15 administration fee. No accreditation, but students who complete a course will have absorbed enough knowledge to pass an exam in their chosen field. Look at their Internet & Computing Classes section.

The HTML Writers Guild - The world's largest international organization of Web authors with over 85,000 members in more than 130 nations worldwide. The HTML Guild is a great resource for web authoring and design and has a large variety of web publishing and design online courses available to it's members. Trial memberships are offered for free. A full membership is $40 per year and you can take the online courses at a reduced rate.

Coursebridge.com - This site offers a variety of quality, fairly priced, educational, online courses for personal and professional enhancement. Online courses include HTML, Visual Basic, and Flash.

Learn At Gateway - Many online courses and other training options available for both IT professionals and end users. 

Learn.com - Their Computer section offers over 40 online computer related courses, including: Programming with C++, An Introduction to the Language of C, Understanding Visual Basic, Introduction to HTML; Computer Basics -Hardware; Bits and Bytes; Active Server Pages (ASP); Beginner's Guide to Java; Java Useful Tips & Tricks; Introduction to Java Swing; Simple DHTML, and PHP Script Basics. The first four pages of their courses are offered for Free, to access the rest, you need to pay $19.95 per year. They also have premium courses for $49.99 or higher.
Element K Learning Center - For $199.00 (annual subscription rate), you can register for as many four- to eight-week classes as you like. The Office Productivity course library includes courses in software skills as well as the most popular business applications on the market today. Topics cover computer topics such as A+ certification, Cold Fusion, JavaScript, C++, HTML, Photoshop, NT System Administration, Windows 2000, Visual Basic, and several desktop applications. 

CSTutoring.com - Courses in C, C++, Java, Javascript, Web, Perl, Javabeans, HTML, Servlets. Payment is for each Lesson per Student - $15 USD by e-mail or by self study. Each course contains lessons, questions, exercises and assignments that you e-mail in for grading. They mark your solutions and send back to you. You download lessons on a trial basis and pay for each Lesson one at a time.
Certificationzone.com - Offers a fee-based study zone with study guides and practice exams for the Cisco CCIE and CCNE. A 6-month subscription costs $99 and a 12-month runs $179. With either subscription you get access to both the CCNA and CCIE Study Zones with a total of 30 study guides. You can also just take a practice exam without being a subscriber for $25. 
PageTutor.com HTML Tutorials -  HTML, Javascript and Web Design Tutorials. Here you'll find tutorials and resources for the beginning and advanced HTML author and web designer. This site will quickly teach you how to make a page completely from scratch with no special software at all. Includes both Free and low fee training lessons and guides.
University City - Master of Science in Computer Sciences -  This is a 60 credit program that is divided in three parts of 20 credits each. A Master of Science in Information Management is also available. University City is a new Virtual University with an international faculty which provides education for those who could never afford college and to those who might wish to earn a second or third degree. Degree programs are entirely online and students work at their own pace. Tuition is a donation of $1.00 per day, total monthly fee is $32.50 (each month). Students from certain nations will be taught without this donation of $1.00 per day.
CyberLearning University -  Learn new skills and update your current skills in Computer, Internet and Information Technology. Sign up now and get a $2,000 full tuition scholarship to take any and all of 400+ IT courses. Smart Planet.com - Areas of study include programming, web design and graphics, databases, webmaster, networks and servers, and hardware. Classes typically cost $20 to $30 and most require the purchase of a text book. Some courses are instructor lead, others are self study. The instructor lead courses start on specific dates and typically last 8 weeks.

Courses are priced from $60 to $100 each. The faculty seems to include very knowledgeable teachers with degrees and advance degrees from fairly well know universities around the country. Credits are given for all AA courses and are transferable to colleges or universities.
ZDU - Three areas of online study: Computer professional courses, Business and management skills courses, and personal computing courses. Both instructor-led and self-study courses.
Your Net University -  Over 300 On-Line Computer Courses and Business Training Programs. All are web based, interactive, and self-paced. From beginner To expert. Unlimited use from $9.95 to $24.95 per month. Includes: C++ OOP, PowerBuilder, Oracle, DB2, SQL, TCP/IP, Unix, Java, COBOL, LAN, and Networking.
HP Training and Education - HP offers seminars and self-paced online training, select from these areas: HP-UX, Microsoft, Linux, IT Management, Java, Databases, Software Development, Lotus, Printing and Imaging, and E Services. Self-paced web-based training courses cost from $49 to $149.
Digital University - Digital University has six departments each offering courses that are designed to keep you up to date and competitive. Students can choose from over sixty courses each taught by a professional in their field. Classes start the 2nd Monday of each month. The courses cost $65 each, including: Introduction to XML, Perl Fundamentals, E-Commerce Security, Intro duction to Java, and Programming Java II. 
Training on the Web - Offers several groups of online computer courses costing $29.95 per month for unlimited access to all the courses in a group. Free course modules include: C Programming, Client-Server Systems Configuration Mangement, Data Warehousing Essentials, DB2 Application Programming, Introduction to Client-Server Architecture, Introduction to Objects, Object Oriented Analysis, and Unix Essentials.
Learn@Your Pace - IT courses from Learn@Your Pace cost from $89 to $189. A full free course in Core Java Language vol. 1 is offered and you can also freely preview their other courses in these areas: COBOL, CORBA, Java vol. 2, MFC, Microsoft IDE, MVS.
Monster.com - Their full technical library (30+ bundles and 165+ courses) costs $325 for full, unlimited access for one year. They also offer several Free web based training computer courses, including The Linux File System, Introduction to SQL Plus, Java Basics, C++ Programming Basics, and HTML 4.0 Programming, Level 1. You can go right to their Registration Page and check off the Free courses you want to take.
