Hello everyone, and welcome to our new subscribers!

This is the February 2006 issue (#52) of our free monthly newsletter for Computer IT Education, Training, & Tutorial Resources providing you with the latest Free online IT Training Resources that we have recently discovered and researched. This newsletter is free to anyone subscribing (instructions at bottom, no username/password is needed). My desire is that these free resources will help you with your computer education and training and are tools to advance your IT career. Our main mission is the training of those less fortunate who are seeking to become computer literate, both technically and from a user's perspective.

The goal of this 'LPI Certification Self-Study Guide' is to leverage existing Linux documentation and combine it with sample questions written by LPI certified persons. (LPI is the Linux Professional Institute.) This self-study guide is broken into chapters based on the objectives for LPI exams 101 and 102. Each chapter begins with a brief overview of the objective followed by a more detailed explanation and several practice questions. This is a work in progress. If you are an expert in one of the objective areas and would like to be part of the LPI Study Guide effort please contact the author to adopt a chapter.
